The Hornaday Award Weekend provides counseling for scouts who are interested in identifying, organizing and executing a Hornaday conservation project. Scouts are assigned both a conservation advisor from one of our local, regional or national conservation partners; as well as a Hornaday advisor who provides guidance and advice to Scouts working towards achieving this prestigious award.

Hornaday projects to date have benefited Texas State Parks, nature conservatories and numerous other deserving governmental and private conservation organizations.
