Caldwell County Judge Tom Bonn honored four Boy Scouts who earned the Hornaday Award for their conservation projects in Central Texas. Bonn earned the national medal when he was a Boy Scout, and is delighted to be part of passing the conservation ethic on.
The Hornaday Award Weekend provides all of the tools necessary for a weekend of ongoing recognition and achievement. Scouts attending their first Hornaday Weekend will receive a logo'd shoulder bag, a professional portfolio designed for conservation project organization and a fully embroidered patch commemorating the Hornaday Weekend.

All participants have their meals prepared and served in the dining hall by the OA Tonkawa Lodge 99 Vigil Honor kitchen in recognition that having fun is the most important ingredient to this Scouting experience which is like no other the Scouts have experienced!
